Create a field in Microsoft Word - an useful tips
Microsoft Word allows the user to create objects in the application in a number of different ways and fields are no different. The traditional way to create a field in Microsoft Word is to simply goto the Insert menu and then choose field from the drop down menu. However, be aware that this is not the most efficient way to create a field.
The simplest way to create a Field is to use the shortcut keystroke [Ctrl]+[F9]. This creates a default field which then allows you to add the required field codes into the field. For example, if you wanted to create a field that asks the user a question you could use the following steps.
Step 1. Use the shortcut [Ctrl]+[F9] to create the field
Step 2. Type the following in the field code - Fillin "Enter the Customer Name"
Step 3. Use the shortcut [Alt] + [F9] to toggle the field codes
Step 4. Use the shortcut [F9] to activate the field
You should now have a input box on your screen asking you to enter the customer name. If you enter any name and press the OK key, you will see that the field has placed that text on your page.
The Fill-in function in Microsoft Word allows you to ask the user of your Microsoft Word Template questions that when filled in, will be inserted into your document. Using this function simply saves the user time in identifying where pertinent information should go in your document.
If you wish to disconnect the information from a field, so that only the text is now in the document you can simply use the shortcut keystroke [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [F9].

Information on computer information systems degree
What is your forte? You know, that certain something that you excel and specialize in above all other things. It seems like we all have one of those. Call it God's way of doing us a favor. One thing is for certain; probably the best field you can deal with in this modern age is computers. Now, I don't care if it's computer software, computer hardware, or some money-making scheme you concocted on the Internet, computers are where it's at. This is why it's beneficial to acquire a computer information systems degree. Have you taken a gander at what all is out there now days? The capabilities of our PCs and Macs simply blows my mind. It's time to step into the new millennium, folks.
My mother now tells me that I should have considered a computer information systems degree. Okay, I will admit that this is a wonderful way to approach college; however, it wasn't exactly up my alley at the time. Regardless, I do see where she is coming from. You can do so many different things now days with a contemporary computer information systems degree. As any fool can tell, it definitely pays to know your way around a computer. I used to pick on my older sibling back in the day, because all he did was play on his computer.
Now, you have to keep in mind that this was back in the 80s. I'm talking about a Tandy 1000 here. Yes indeed folks, this was pre-Internet. I am not even sure what all he was doing on that dinosaur of a machine. However, later he went after a computer information systems degree, and these days he's doing rather well. I was amazed at how fast he progressed through his schooling. It seemed like he new exactly what he was doing and finished in a flash.
Today I can definitely see the benefits of a computer-based degree more clearly. Heck, it's not like they're going anywhere. If anything, computers will only become more prominent. Especially considering that we already use them for so many different things. I do believe that "convenience" has become our middle name. * CD/DVD Drive. Most computers come with a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. It is important to have one when you need to install software that normal come in a CD. Also, consider investing in a CD burner or writer so you can store your files in CDs and clear out space in your computer for faster processing speed. This would also prevent loss of files in case your computer crashes.
* USB Drive or Stick. This little baby will come in handy to copy and store files from your computer.
